Tuning required for Greddy Kit?

So I asked a retailer about the greddy kit and they said that the eManage that comes with the kit is intended as a final tune, and as I understand it at 5 PSi.

I travel between Idaho and California a lot, air (and Octane) is a lot thinner in Idaho than California. I know on other kits this can cause a problem cause as I understand it, a lot of kits are based off of the trottle position, and the eManage is intended only to drive to a tuner who tunes based on the present conditions? So if the kit is based off of the MAF would their be any problem from switching from the elevations?

Also, if its fine switching back and forth in high and low elevations, would this continue to be the case if I had the car tuned to a higher PSI? And how much would the extra eManage stuff cost that is needed to tune (aside from Wideband, boost controller, etc). And how much does it normally cost to tune an RX-8 given that everything is hooked up correctly and the tuner doesn't have to troubleshoot your crappy work?

Thanks for all help - its much appreciated.

Honestly, I would ditch the e manage and use the Cobb AccessPort from Mazdamaniac. (forum member)

also search for the greddy kit on here and you will find all the answers you seek

e-manage needs to be tuned. YOu can either keep it, go to Mazdamaniac's webstie and download his tune (you'll need to use his wiring scheme) OR you can ditch the piggy back for the AP
