STS Turbo systems

Anyone here have any experience with the STS turbo and the rx8?

I know sts doesnt make a kit for the rx8, but has anyone bought the universal sts turbo system and modded it to their rx8?

About 2/3 yrs ago they were looking into building a kit for the RX8. I for one was interested. They abandoned the project. I believe it was due to the lack of availability of piggyback ecu's or custom flashes for the PCM.
There was a guy "rotorocks" that built his own rear mounted turbo. His version 2 is now a mid mounted turbo. It is located about where the cat is normally.
I would suggest you contact STS & rotorocks to see what info you can get on their rear mounted turbo.

Don't count on rotorocks so much, he just blew engine number 2 with his kit. He is saving up money before he can rebuild it. So I don't think his will really be available to be made and bought before some things are worked out first.
