Hey so this thread has gone down in conversation but I Have bought the universal STS kit and got a performance shop to do the install, I have driven the car some but am waiting for Mazdamaniac to get my tuning for my AP done. I have a small vibrant (18x6x3) inter cooler and it runs 6 degrees F over ambient which i think is pretty good. My waste gate is set for 7 pounds, once i have a tune and can actually get into boosted ranges i expect 250-275 hp.

 

Did you consult with anyone about the size of the turbo? How about some pictures of the installation?
I have for a long time been interested in the STS system and looking forward to any future posts.

 

I will get some pictures of the car up on a lift so you can really see how it is set up. The turbo I wanted with my kit is good for 380 HP, since I don't have a tune yet I don't know it is spools enough air to give seven pounds all the way to 9000.

I took those of the first, possibly you have confused the date I joined rotary insider with the date that post was made.

 

I just called them and they said they got a few projects they are working on and to call a guy at PSI around philly PA that works on the universal kit. It would cost around 5k with everything out the door, and stainless steel pipes, but I would have to take it to get it tuned since he's never messed with our engines. He did say there is a shop about 5 miles from him the specialize in the rx7's.

How much did you pay for your kit? Is your car still running normal? Tuned or not?
