I am not taking sides but is there a reason that you guys are hounding them so bad?? I did not see this type of aggression on the Greddy thread.

Hou-Tx-Rx8 your right I don't understand why they are hounding them so bad. Maybe because I started this thread about the great HP figures and they thought the product was complete and ready to ship.. But we should cut them some slack its seems like a great kit, and for those who don't think so, fine you don't have to buy it, but don't try to put down the product or the company on this thread start your own thread, this thread was to give info on a new product if its good or bad , but not for personnel attacks .

For the guys who want to keep on the negative side of everything, Start a thread about Greddy, Pettit, and others on this thread that was suspose to provide products that are not finished yet... Geez

OK, I'm a little confused. Weren't we at 292 at 6 psi when the thread started? Did you back off timing or add fuel for some safety margin?

I think SSR realized RP and RG were correct on the limits of output at 6psi. His 292 dyno was overcompensating for air pressure since the first pull was on a n/a car and the second was on a turbo (the air pressure effects turbos diffrently).

SSR, I just want to say publicly what a GREAT job you've been doing fielding questions about your kit. A lot of people would have gotten pissed and/or gone away mad, what with all the agressive questions, naysayers, and negative attitudes. But you have stayed cool and done an excellent job of replying without taking offense.

Now post up that new dyno chart (and even better yet, maybe some time slips? :D) and sit back - the power junkies with money are going to be flocking to this kit. You've reset the bar higher for FI kits in general too.

I've got to agree with "Omi". I just finished reading the last of this thread and I have to commend you SSR/SFR for still sticking around. I don't know much about FI for the RX8 but from what I see it looks like you guys have done a phenomenal job. If nothing else you've given us RX8 guys another option to look at for FI. Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing results from Rotoman when he puts on of these bad boys on his ride.

The turbo remained attached to the car. The owner got the system for free.

Any feedback from the owner? Does anyone know who it is and can ask them to post how they like it?

i think they constructed this kit with Speed Force Racing, they are located in Santee (outside of San Diego).

Wow. $7000 to get a system with fuel management (which you will need in all cases) just to get to 8 PSI and within 20 HP of what you can do with the Greddy kit.
Interesting.
That is double what it cost me to make my own system in the same power range.

20 hp? What are you basing that off of? Do you not believe their hp rating?

Jon's RWHP = 240.4 rwhp
Jeff's RWHP = 225.0 rwhp (but he's still tuning)

That would make it at least 47 additional hp....

I got 225 HP with only 5.5 PSI. I'm up to 9 PSI now and easily 275 HP or more.

They are claiming 285 HP (which is possible), yet they offer the fuel management as an option, which it absolutely isn't.
The fuel management is absolutely key to any kind of real numbers.
