I looked at the hose candy stuff and it's expensive. Using heat shrink is a good idea though, I may do that. I have some really good heat shrink with gel inside.

it does hold better and its consistant around the fitting. I think that this type of heat shrink is different than the electrical kind?
What people do is buy a kit and then share it as you dont need it all. Half and half so to speak.

The heat shrink Hoss-05 bought and sent me for use on his car and mine is some serious stuff and will handle some serious heat so I doubt they stuff they sell is any better but I could be wrong. But it would insure an airtight seal.

I am not at liberty to discuss the particulars of the origin of the shrink wrap.

a little update for you all.

After running the car for awhile, the rubber AN push on fitted return line I made had finally roasted and cracked from the manifold heat. SOOO, I went and had an ss AN line made and fitted it on last night. Zero leaks so far.

yeah I got them from another Forum member. It really changed the style of the car.

The car has been seldom driven for the past few months but it runs great.

Kane is finishing up some big boy army business but after that I plan on utilizing his time in an abusive manor to finish up the tune. (Kane if you read this, by abusive I mean leisurely fly you down here, hang out, drink, and maybe tune on the side )

good good, I still have the text form our last conversation. I assume that things are still on schedule and you are coming up on some free time here in mid may early June?

I think we should be able to get a move on things here very early June. I will be in touch soon enough
