The road to DGGR..my Greddy Turbo build
That's not the spirit.
Take care of heat, get it tuned properly, don't ask too much of the Greddy turbo and I guarantee your motor will last a long time, if it's healthy right now.

^ I know its really not but its a possibility im bracing myself for.... I agree with the above my motors healthy per compression test.....taking care of heat...greddy turbo although upgraded im not trying to be in the 300 plus club ill be cool with 280...KDR same tuner as steven and the others will most likely do mine......If it goes boom ill either rebuild it bigger and better or get a 7 like everyone else lol.

I was just thinking I wish turblown made a high mount for the greddy turbo with external wastgate and an accompanying downpipe..... seems like a good idea for those who want a good manifold less heat, a cool looking engine bay, a decent turbo because you could go with the bnr or fluid upgrade... the only thing you would have to do is figure out the intercooler piping... right?
(Quoted from the site)
"High Mount Turbo Manifold for all Mazda Rx-8s, including 2009 Models. These units are hand made in house, and can be customized for your particular application. These can be configured for any turbo or waste gate setup."

^ you know what im dumb when i wrote that I did know they made a high mount i just meant specific already to the greddy kit not even taking into consideration they said they could make a high mount for whatever purpose you like. Thanks something im write faster then i think and it just doesnt come out right.
Oh Ken, btw, you may also want to invest in a Greddy hicapacity oil pan. For the extra oil and cooling effect. I'm not sure but I think they also have an extra bung for a oil return line for the turbo? Not sure about that..

....it's better because yu don't have to drill a hole for it...the greddy pan has 2 holes already, so you can use for the turbo..steven

Sooooooooo its pretty much done and I will just need a tune however MM let me know some things that have me second guessing my ability to make it to DGGR due to some restrictions with the cobb....We will see what happens yes my engine bay is dirty as hell I will be cleaning it up for sure as well as taking some better pictures kinda only had a cell phone to work with. I can make it if someone is willing to give me some tuning lessons i have been reading ALOT but still dont feel like i could do it without coaching (I might have to grow a pair but dont want to risk my engine lol).
