With a turbo - you betcha.

Flow is way more drastic on FI than NA; you will need a retune or run lean.

Did you tune with the gutted cat?

If so - you may be ok; but I would at LEAST monitor your AFR gauge. If it is not a big deal to re-tune. I would do that.

If it IS a big deal, you can send me your log files from EMU and I can give it a go in the old software.

If someone would get me engine logs from Int-X I can make it work..... ah well.

If you have an AFR - just keep an eye on it until you can tune it.

ok...another question.
so as we all know that when you floor the car till a certain amount, the check engine like will start blinking when itz NA.
it happened to me when my car was still NA, i went to a track. for the first section, the CEL keeps blinking, so i slowed down a bit and let it rest, then it stopped and i never happened again. but when the CEL blinks, i feel the power lost.
so now im turbo with the interceptor, CEL is on all time, and last week i went to the track, the CEL starts blinking again and it continuiouly blinking whenever i floor it for all the sections. But i dont feel the power lost.
and now, when im driving on the street and i floor it, the CEL starts blinking more easily, i was wondering what will cause that?

c41250n - agree with CRH on the CEL. Mine does it too when I nail it all the way to redline.

Do you in fact have a good AFR gauge? If so, then I would not really worry about it if you can monitor it with the resonator on. The changes to flow should not be super huge. If you see it going leaner then take the resonator out.

Check the coils and plugs. Also - with that nifty AFR guage, look what happens when you get the blinking light... does it get richer (unburnt fuel)? That can also clue you in.

I plan to get the Scanguage 2 as soon as I get home - that way I can check the CEL's and I'll know why it is tripping. I think that is twice as important for Int-X guys since your light is always on. Good insurance for $150.

yeah, a code reader is a good idea. You can even get a cheapy at AutoZone that will work for $90 bucks and you don't need a laptop.
