A possibility of MM working with SFR? I am awaiting the results!

 

 

If MM works with SFR.....and figures out a great tuning program for that kit.

I'm seriously sold!

This is likely my future direction anyway... but if the two of you are working together, and are freely bouncing ideas off one another with the kit as a whole in regards to tuning, well... i might just bump up my time table quite a few months

Sorry just responded to your pm.Been very busy. Not enough hours in the day for me!

 

I think for the most part,we have worked out the majority of the details.I am just waiting for MM to respond back and then we can proceed. I will need to get MM the datalogs he needs though. In order to do that we need someone to buy a SFR kit with Cobb Accessport (at a special discounted price) so we can get the ball rolling and get the datalogs to MM. Then he can create his custom tune based off of those datalogs. And then all future kits will come with this tune right out of the box.So that is essentially the plan right now.

 

i'll be the guinea pig! (depending on the price.... haha)

 

well SOB, when i said bumping my timetable a few months, i certainly didnt mean bumping it to now lol


So (more or less) whats potentially happening here is MM making a map/calibration for the SFR kit as it comes. This map then will become the standard map distributed with non-custom SFR turbo orders(assuming the AP is the management of choice)

 

What's the price look like??? I second that notion...

 

Sorta.
The Kit would come with the Custom Calibration Service and a base calibration that is tailored to the kit so that it would be basically ready for start-up out of the box, but would still require tuning.

That makes more sense due to various turbos and injectors the SFR kit offers. I hope this turns out to be a great working relationship between MM and SFR!
