you were correct sir
tapered side on the inside of the SC
I could tell by the oil left on the new spacer when I tried it both ways compared to the scarring on the old spacer

So this install is coming along. I need some of your help guys.

1. So Greg and Moon helped me out with this. But I need some visual. I'm trying to figure out what to do with this hose with the blue strap. Moon said- unhook it off the steel line and run a rubber line through the purge solenoid then from that to the back of the blower to that fitting.

2. how do I connect the purge valve?

Lol--slow down man! The wires that go to the purge sensor --------is the same connector that you unplugged it from!
Time to take a break --maybe?

Levi--you are a learning sir--proud of ya !

How is all that power you are playing with?
It's doing well. Pretty much have it down on launching without spinning out. Gonna have to put a bigger blower on it in the near future to keep it interesting!

So yea if anyone has a pic of there purge solenoid valve and how and what hoses connect to it. it will be much appreciated. I'm just wondering if it matters to which fitting on the purge valve I connect the hose to from the steel pipe.

by any chance is the red out lined hose is what Im asking about?

the tube on the purge valve that is the farterest away from the connector is what goes to your vacuum source. The tube on the valve that is the closest of the connector goes on the steel line from the tank

well--it never ends.
now my a/f's are getting leaner. up to 11.9 during wot and over 6K rpm.. They had been around
10.8--11.1. Now they are hanging around 11.5--11.9 range.
I dont like that
injector duty cycle is 92%.
Had a track w/e I was hoping to somehow make--but not now.
Nothing has really changed with the engine.
Probably need better injectors--i guess.

Thanks for the help Dragger!!!!!! I'm almost done...

BTW why do you think its the injectors? Some injector cleaner can't clean them up?

Get injetors Denny, big ones so your duty cycle isn't past 50%. Should have less of a chance of clogging also. Overkill may be the way to avoid further issues. If it works easy it will last. If it works hard it won't. Same theory I have with the fuel pump. Had to pull a pump apart today as a matter of fact. I see a good reliability gain on a much larger sock for the pick up as well. Any gain in that surface area would be a benefit in the fact of it needing less maintnence.

There you are!! Been wondering.......
I know and you are right. To do it the best way would be to get Pauls injectors, and then I would have to retune.
Its one of the reasons I am not tracking right now.

Little birdie told me you are going to the tail this year?

Good chance it wont happen. There's only rumor of a low volumn new SC for the S1 next year.

I got 4 ea Injector Dynamics 1000cc on the top fuel rail and running the 10psi pulley. Duty cycle in the low 60% at full tilt and over 5 track session (Homestead/Sebring) with no issues other than heat as usual.

Done only one track event this year due to some $$$ budget issues. However, doing AutoX every month to keep the 8 zoom-zoom.

I'm running leaner as well
While cruising at a constant speed my AFR is usually 14.5-15
Lately it has been dropping randomly to ~13-13.5
I can let off the gas for a split second then back on and it goes back up to normal but, will drop back down again in a few minutes randomly
Still running strong but, really makes me wonder...I was suspecting injectors as well

I'm using the funds to build my new motor ( management issues). I'm not setting a price, if an offer makes me happy I'll go with it and I absolutely will not let this go to a irresponsible owner. I want it to go to a good home. This is an adoption, haha. I have a new baby on the way. Keep in mind the new setup will not go for cheap because it won't be cheap.

it will be nice. It should sell fast--list it in the for sale section?

Levi be careful. If you are randomly going richer--then think why?
If you are running leaner while under boost--remember you have the oem sparkplugs.
Watch the intake temps--now that the weather is hotter--make sure your boost is constant, intake valves are performing ok etc. We are tracking in a few days.
Run some logs---one constant at 4K rpms, another at wot in second gear only starting at 3.5K rpm--STOP if you notice any afr over 12 at ANY time after 5K rpms.
any long term fuel trims?
Again--please take some Torco ( to up the octane) to Roebling.
Your intercooler pump working ok--right?

It's AFRs during constant cruising speeds
As I said my AFR is usually 14.5-15
Lately it has been dropping randomly to ~13-13.5
I can let off the gas for a split second then back on and it goes back up to normal but, will drop back down again in a few minutes randomly
Intake temps are good...WOT AFRs are good...intercooler and pump is good
Could just be those crappy gauges...I need to pick up a Cobb so I can do some logs
