well if you have a fuel shortage then I guess car wont want to rev / accelerate for safety?

The pump sounds like a probable suspect....

You have probably blown the siphon cap off. You really should have looked at the install instructions.

I have to say that "just plugged it and rock and roll!" is probably not the best way to avoid problems (with any kind of install really)! I mean that in the best way! 8)

Ok, JMK, it seems your chasing your tail. You said in an earlier post that your AFRs are in the 10s correct? If so you don't have a fuel delivery problem other then being to rich. Id bet there's something else your over looking. You've done so much stuff to try to correct the problem, I think you need to backtrack. If you saw no change in your fuel pressure after changing out that pump you need to put the old one back in. Remind me what the last mod or mods you made before the problems started happening. If it was the battery relocation you might want to move that back also. If your fuel pressure is dropping you might have a problem with your high speed circuit, like MM said you need to check that. Keep in mind also that you might have done something to the harness along the way, maybe its pinched or grounded out somewhere. I didn't get a good look at your data logs, does it look like everything goes nuts at 6500? How did your old plugs look? Were they fouled out or lean? How do your old O2 sensors look, are they black, brown or white. What's your MAF reading when it falls on its face? How does that compare to other owners numbers. Ill keep thinking of stuff for you to check out. First answer my questions.

jsk---dont you wish Cam had a live video feed so you could watch what he will be doing? Lol.

JMK--- just a hunch, but are you sure you plugged the front o2 sensor up correctly, didnt mix the front and back one up?
By the way what type of o2 sensor did you buy and why did you replace yours?

Open loop is the problem area?
IMHO, the best idea is as what has been said. return your car to its last known good configuation. Then replace only one part at a time.

Pretty good, Moon, I've been thinking the same thing. Just waiting on getting the scar first, more MRIs coming. If I hadn't been so paralyzed by pain at the PT appointmennt last week, it would have killed the therapist working on me, no effing joke. Imagine every molecule of your body being stuck by a white hot pin at the same time for about 15 seonds.

People who dont have it or have never had it--dont understand chronic pain. People are too quick to judge.

Yeah, he did say that he'd send me a bunch of pics when he got it torn apart and figures out what happened. A Video would be much cooler though.

correct about the AFR...was very rich !

where may I look for the fuel harness ? where does it goes along the car ?
what is the "high speed circuit" ?
before the problem start...SOmeone knee on the back seat and broke fuel pump outgoing pipe. so I changed the whole assembly...

my old plug where not looking bad...but my old 02 sensor was brown and the screw part was so used/damaged that it couldn't be screwed to the car.

I did put the battery in the trunk but today I replace my small battery with a 74ah... nothing changed...

just notice also that my car has a hard time to start the engine...
& I had yesterday an OBD code : P0410.

do you want me to send a data log ?

thanks for the help

I'm having some issues with my new clutch. Take a look at this post and see if you can shed some light to our issue.

Juan, I just had what you are starting to see, with my ACT stg. III.
Heres what happened, same issues you were having, the "creeping"(when the car feels like its engaged in a gear, this will eventually get worse). What happened to me is that my clutch started to get so hot, that is was literally sticking to the flywheel and pressure plate. Eventually the clutch melted itself to each, had to take the whole thing apart and pry them apart. There are still pieces that are stuck to my flywheel(ACT Prolite) I now have the Exedy stg I and RB flywheel, for about 4K miles, well at least thats my limited experience.

Another possibility is that the oem clutch master/slave combo does not have the ability to put enough force (before master clutch seal blow by) since this is an Exedy Stage1 HD and does take more pressure to disengage the clutch.

Denny, I was serious, I hope you don't think I was goofing on Moon. suddenly it looks like I"m heading down a similar albeit less intense path, and I am anticipating some scars soon. BTW, Moon, get some color on that.

Moon- Find a wiring diagram and see what color wire runs the high speed circuit from your ECU to fuel pump. Id say check your grounds also. I'm not telling you to move your battery from your trunk to your engine bay because its not big enough I'm telling you to do that because you might have cut the wires accidently when you put them in.

before the problem start...SOmeone knee on the back seat and broke fuel pump outgoing pipe. so I changed the whole assembly...

Moon- You said you replaced the pump with a 09 pump rite? That might be your problem.

Moon- Just a question, is this the first high-tech car you’ve worked on? Don’t you think you might want to have someone who works on them look at it that’s local, maybe a dealer? I highly suggest you unhook and plug your bypass valve and vac hose till you figure out EVERYTHING that’s going on or your going to break something before you start running boost, maybe even remove the belt from the supercharger. The car should run like its stock. If it doesn't you need to figure out why BEFORE you keep boosting or even do more then a test-drive. Your going to carbon up your engine and cause yourself a lot more problems. Send me your data logs, ill have a look at them. My Email is in the message I sent you, also send me pics of your new plugs, I need to do a plug reading. Yes, you need to remove them again. I cant say it enough, NO boost.

No Wess---wasnt thinking that of you---I was just speaking in general. I work in health care ( Trauma/admin/case managment etc) as a Nurse specialist for the last 33 years. I see people label others that are suffering from chronic pain without having a clue to what that person is going through. They are too quick to judge. Kinda sensitive subject for me---people judging others.

Good advice Moon--on pulling the sc belt until he gets this figued out.
He has a video posted of his car breaking up. It sure reminds me of the FI harness getting plugged up wrong, but he has checked that multiple times? He installed the bigger injectors and pulley package.
Doesnt break up with partial throttle? Or does it?

My 09 R3 was delivered last night. It has the smart card set up and a spare tire hung in the trunk. Every option that can be had on the R# model? Looks --so --far like an easy fix. Just some work to be done.
Stay tuned.
Its beatiful and only 9K on the odometer

Juan--sorry to hear of the troubles.
The 09 clutch/slave feels different---i wonder if they changed it somehow?

Nice.
Maybe the clutch feels different because it will no longer "snap-off"?
I give you 6 months max till your 09R3 is boosted.
