I'm not that fat, but before long I may need to carry another person with me just to help this old fat man out of the car.

Well if having a fat butt means the size in that picture then I would not qualify. Let's just make it sizable and elderly.

Hey Phil, my butt is not fat. It is the chair that makes my butt look fat.

I gained over 30 hp from X to flash. However, I'm not too happy with the person that ran the dyno. I'm scheduling another dyno for earlier next month (same dyno) but different person.

Yes, wheel horse power.

In a rush, running all over the place and on his cell phone.

Can anybody explain where that extra power may be coming from? I could see potential improved driveability/smoothness but improved peak power?

Charles

I'm not even close to the level of knowledge that some of the people on this forum have but all I can say is that the power is way up and so the miles per hour.

My unrefined guess is that the power and mpg gain is due to a combination of "Intergalactic Ju-Ju" and FM*. Not necessarily in the same order.

Most likely leaner A/Fs and a LOT more ignition timing.
The PCM likes 20° or more under heavy load where Kan's tune only had 3° to 6°.
Though, the placebo effect of an OE idle and better throttle response is going to go a long way.

That would go under the heading of "driveability", wouldn't it?
