OD give me a call I helped Juan over the phone and can probably lend a hand to you as well. Phil you may want to give me a call, the Interceptor-X is running the engine not the factory ECU and there are some fields that need to be checked in your mapping. You should not have to change the mapping like you are doing.

Let me talk to MM first. He and Cam are the only people that have touched my tunes since the s/c install. While they are present it runs good and will repeat but not if a different time of day/night. I want to make sure I will use the correct terms that you will understand. I tried to do it my self one time and I obviously do not have the confidence to try again ( I went too lean and panicked).

Ok Scott will do. In looking at the wiring semantics (not the ones in the real shop manual, I am physically at work, but mind is elsewhere--hope no one dies----jk) I see things to check in the main fuse box. It will be a long time before quitting time. If it wasnt Friday i would be feeling a bug coming on.
I am beginning to wonder if I somehow plugged the a/w intercooler pump into the fuse box wrong somehow. I added a new circuit type shovel plug with fuse attachment on the blank hot wire to plug into the space as directed per instructions.
My question is also-- if a fuse blew--then why?
Great support by the way---thanks all.

There were no cameras when I was young so I can't prove it. Dirt and I have been around about the same time.

For those of us "loyal" Pettit "pioneers", any chance we could get our own special "holiday" pricing for the flash and A/I kit??

Look this over again with the instructions and make real sure or you may just pop any new fuse you find bad and replace. If I remember right, you said you heard the air pump start at first and then it quit after about a second? That sure sounds like a fuse, and we know you checked that 60A, so that ain't it. I started looking at the schematics last night when you first posted about this. I still contend you better go back and look at how/where you plugged that a/w intercooler pump in as you've stated. You might want to not only take out the Int-X but the intercooler pump wiring until you get it back firing up and then proceed from there again.
Just my two cents and I'm sure you've thought about it all. Good Luck!

SHE LIVES!!!!!!!

Help from a great bunch of folks---really. I wish my profession had that type of support.
Juan called me as stated, Scott at mazsport asked me to call him, i did and he pointed me in the right direction just as Juan had(Scott helped him also) Charlie from mazcare called and also helped--all the members on the board, Charles Hill helped with other questions and general support I needed. Could not have done this without the help of all.
My wife, God Bless her, had the patience of a saint during all of this. I really appreciate her being there and keeping me from hurting myself or shooting the car last night..

It was a simple thing. A fuse in the engine bay fuse box. It's labeled "engine"
I know God is laughing at me. Go ahead God--now I am laughing too.
I think as Scott thought also that the a/w pump drew too much current on the start up. i am going to run it now in a different way., i did not hook it up this time.

She started right up. Lights on INT x flashing right. I am getting a flashing cel ---i dont care. !!
I only ran it a few minutes will she was still on the jack stands.
On the road in the a.m.
WHEW---and it was worth it.

All right !

Great news!

Congrats!

We were all pulling for ya, and knew it was only a matter of time! I'm sure there will be some other small bugs, but you've done a hell of a lot and deserve mucho kudos!

Congrats! Don't feel too bad - I remember similar simple bugs causing major headaches in the computer programming field. You'd be tearing your hair out and it would be something simple like that that you had overlooked or had no reason to think you should look at.

Good luck with the tuning session!
