How did MAF scale go on round 3?

 

The turbo came on the car when I bought it and am just trying to familiarize myself with it. When I tried to get it off, the strut brace right under the turbo wouldn't budge. I am guessing you have to remove this because it is directly in the turbos way. I will pm ya later if I need any info. Thanks.

 

So what is the difference is the turbos...I believe he is doing a top mount correct? So will you be able to make his turbo flow more than the 58 lbs/mins.

I'm curious to know at what rpm this baby spools up at . My upgraded Greddy reaches 10psi at around 3400 rpm . I would love it if it spooled up a little earlier actually - 2900-3000 would be about perfect ...

cool - except whoever did that chart is obviously trying to sell the aerocharger as most turbos spool up way quicker than what that chart indicates ....

 

Depends on the AR trim... make it small enough and it will spool real quikc - of course backpressure is an issue.

But it is hard to argue with VATN - except the price.

 

I think the difference will be to make it flow properly while being farther from the manifold. But if it flows more, I'm all for it!

 

Well when I am able to up the boost I will see at what RPM I am able to get 10psi at...only a matter of time, only a matter of time...

The 60-1 compressor is rated at 58 lbs/min. It actually flows around 60. The difference between your turbo and his full garrett is your turbocharger is a Mitsubishi. I have fitted a Garrett compressor wheel to the mitsubishi turbo. His is an off the shelf T04E which is super common.

 

Turbo looks awesome man, thank a lot!! Its so clean and pretty, I dont want to put it on! I just need to find some oil feed lines real quick!!

Good news guys..there is a dyno coming July 3rd!

 

nice...cant wait to see some dyno numbers? did you upgrade your fuel? and what psi are you planning on having when going to the dyno?

 

Upgraded to 730cc fuel injectors, I am planning on doing around 9 and 12 psi.

 

Good luck on the dyno! Put some good plugs in it.
