Cool

Ohh, I almost forgot. In my Ignition Adjustment Map(EMU) the numbers in the boxes represent what? Degrees? or is it a Percent of change over what the ECU has at that point? It says "adjustment value", value of what? Thanks again.

The ignition adjustment map is in degrees

Not actual ignition timing but an adjustment value

input range= -20 through 20, 0.5 increment

Manual is here: http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/ult...nal_Manual.pdf

If you raise the boost, do it at a very gradual rate and test. If all is OK raise some more, and pay attention to that AFR. If you start running lean I guess it is where you need to stop, and upgrade the fuel system.
I doubt anyone knows what the safe boost is. It is safe as long as there is no detonation.

I came along yesterday and out of the blue over 10 RX-7s show up heavily modified...and they bring along a tuner they flew in from Gotham Racing. It was a lot of fun but no dyno time to be had.

I have lots of pics to post later today.

Oh did I mention a 3 rotor Second Gen was there? oh and a widebody RX-7?

We'll probably make it some time this week.

Pic of Chris's turbo with engine cover on...fits without modification or touching turbo components!

And pics of the big Rotary tuning event that we stumbled upon...dyno tuning of Chris's car to follow. Enjoy the pics! (oh and yes that is a 3 rotor and yes that is a widebody rx-7 kit)

Hey guys I was there when they were tuning on the dyno a few days after not getting in that day.

Also gotten a ride while it was being broke in with some light tuning, even as it was it had an absolutely great feel. Pushes a person back in the seat and a smile follows.

Christian pulled the kit off to get the latest flash for extra oil injection and has been traveling for his job and the holidays. Sorry to leave you guys hanging.

He is anxious to get the kit reinstalled and some more fine tuning of the kit.

Also due to MN winter finally being here, you may not see anything till Spring.

I forgot about that since we hadn't had any substantial snow till a couple of days ago.

Don't worry we will continue to work through the winter. Family obligations over holidays and somewhat in January as well is the reason for no updates. Plus we have jobs on top of this (Chris, engineer...myself the website of course). Don't get us wrong though we are just as excited about this as you guys.

Btw, his car rides wicked fast

Sounds like there is a lot of Southern hospitality in Florida.

Sears or Harbor Freight?

If you come get them, I could probably get by with one set till spring comes around.

Cool holly!

Hey guys,
Sorry I hadnt written in a while. I actually though the thread had been terminated because last I looked it wasnt in the list(not too familiar with forums and the way they work). As true magellen said, the car's turbo was removed for servicing(new reflash bcause I was a couple of versions behind and the new starter/plugs for better cold starting) After that I've been real busy dealing with work and my holiday trip to Puerto Rico to visit my family. I expect to have the kit on the car again in march which is when the temps will warm a little(no use in installing it now,I can barelly drive the car as it is with all the ice). From the last tuning session I got a good full throttle setup but the part throttle and transition area is still rich, I also changed the map parameters on the EMU to allow full control of all injectors at every range in the RPM(before I only had control to 6500rpm and then it was constant). It should be great now . As soon as I start working on it I'l post some new pictures and keep u guys updated, again sorry for the abandonment . TTYL.

Chris....Esmeril
