Hola, Saludos,
I am not using an electromotive TEC3(I wish I had one though...) the reason I mentioned it is because I think the black car in the picture is using one. I will probably end up with an electromotive because I have more experience with them.
I will post more pics soon of the kit as it progresses.

Isn't the Electromotive around $2500?

It depends on what u buy. If u just buy the engine management unit its about the same as the ITX or maybee even less but if you buy all the other accesories then it could get that high.

You can use also A Haltech E11v2 and still using the renesis crank trigger wheel and sensor for keep the Power Steering and gages cluster running and you can intercep the factory ecu using the can bus network.

You could also plug the Interceptor-X EMS into the factory harness and allow all the factory equipment to function while still giving you complete engine control!

The Intereceptor-X is always on our minds for the Renesis...some of these other engine management systems discussed are from 3 rotor conversions...and extreme race applications (which I imagine the Interceptor is capable of).

Also from what I understand there are a lot of these ECU replacements around PR from previous projects so they are simply retrofitting.

Any chance we'll see a black friday discount on the Interceptor
-X?

from that rule we prefer complete stand alone ECU's that we know that
worked on previous projects here in Puerto Rico.

To disable the air pump can't it just be disconnected both from the manifold and from the clip that gives it power up top?

Or just disconnected from the manifold and secure it up so it doesn't flop around. If it is required by the ECU to run that is...

One of the guys did this with one of the aftermarket headers. Said it was a little annoying hearing the pump but it doesn't run that long.

^^^I simply removed the air pump and plugged the lines. Running the interceptor, though. The pump is a seriously powerful piece! At first I just disconnected its output. When I turned the car on it just about blew my tools across the room.

The reason I estimate tuesday is because Ill be hitting it non stop saturday and sunday all day and most of the night and most of the stuff is already fabricated and ready to go into the car. IT should be done by tuesday, not necesarily tuned.....

Working and sleeping 24 hours working about 8 hours of sleep...

Wish I could have been there instead.

Full time school + full time work = not much time to do much unless I take a day off of work.

Times like this I really appreciate having a wonderful wife... she keeps everything running smooth (can't imagine what our house would look like if she didn't). She doesn't call me Tornado Ted for nothing... "It looks like a tornado went through here!"

That's what happens when I jump into a project.
