'MS' refers to MazSport. The Harness I mentioned is the one on the left in THIS photo. The photo contains everything in the kit, is that what you have?
Other things to check.
The fuse in the harness
The grounds MUST be made to clean spots
The connection to the + power source

Oops, I've seen Mazdaspeed referred as MS before, and by the photo, that's what I assumed you meant. The connectors match exactly as described. With the ignition at 'ON' the led is off so I'm guessing the fuse is good. It looks fine visually. I cleaned the grounds with some isopropanol prior to connecting them.

Check the plugs that go into the ignitor (the black box mounted to the galvanized motor bracket). That's what I messed up.

In other news I've noticed that my tailpipes are cleaner than usual. I clean them periodically with Nevrdull and normally the bottom of the exhaust pipes are black within 2-3 days. I installed the Ignition Solution on Wednesday and four days later my exhaust is barely showing signs of carbon.

I really wish I had my AccessPORT to see what's changing!

2 questions. Is there still a wait time from when you order this, and when it arrives? In the previous posts it appears people ordered and paid, it they waited a long time before getting it?

Also is the a DIY thread on this product yet? I couldnt find it.

1. They have them instock now. Order and it ships out next business day or so.

2. No DYI needed. It comes with an excellent illustrated instruction booklet and all you need is a 8mm & 10mm wrench, 8mm and 10mm socket with about a 12" extension. That's it.

The last few pages of this thread have made it seem like it's hard to install or something...it's NOT. If you know how to screw and unscrew bolts and can follow simple instructions you're set.

I'm going to agree here that my tailpipes are cleaner as well. Didn't have a lot of time on the new ignition before I couldn't drive my car(broken heel) for over two months, but now since I'm back to daily driving....I definetly see them as being cleaner. I used to wipe off the tailpipes every single day when I got home from work, and now I've done it once in over two weeks.

This may be misleading. I ordered mine June 20th, and havent received any shipping or tracking info. I emailed their sales team and they emailed me back saying each unit is custom made and will ship once they're ready. So I'll have to wait.

Hmmm, I thought Scott had said they were going to be an instock item now.

just a note..

since installing and my PCM adjusting... I've seen consistantly better gas mileage as well when commuting to and from work. I actually got 300 mpg in a tank! With a few scattered redlines to boot! And I'm not using an accessport either haha

Swoope don't bang your head your speed reading was correct in it's interpretation. he did put 300mpg but was making reference to the tank .

yes, I did read correctly and I was applying the flag to the 300 mile a tank.

I get no where near 300 miles to a tank. I'm lucky if I get just over 200.

Scott (and others),

I'm just posting a question for us 4AT bastard stepchildren - has anyone done any reviews, provided any dynos (butt or otherwise), etc of the ignition solution on the 4AT? I brought it up to a new person over in our little corner of the forums who was asking for advice on potential mods.

Thanks!
