Ha ha me too! one was only about 1/2" longer.

 

you guys should notice that both of them look almost the same, but if you guys measure them, they are off by 1/2 inches, i believe. i have to see tomorrow when i get back from my mechanic. he doens't want to install them anymore, he surrendered installing the coils he ask me to do it...he got tired of it, adn it didn't work...time for me to jump, i will elt ppl know

 

your mechanic is not a mechanics a**hole if he can't do that job .....

I am a crappy mechanic and was able to install them successfully.

 

im in college for graphic design, completely unrelated to cars, and i could do it.

He probably can't reach the spark plugs and needs to take the wheel off to get to them. That throws people off who aren't used to the rotary.

Just turn the wheels to the right and remove the small panel inside the wheel well to get to them.

Worked well for me when changing plugs.

 

I do the same thing. Why bother even removing the wheel =)

I just ordered my Ignition Solution yesterday... lets see the turn around time now that the "list" is dwendleing down and alot have been delivered already.

The problem indeed was with a loose ground connection. Its running perfectly now. Thanks Scott.

 

it's not that, but we did it, but it was a porblem, didnt start. he put the ctock one, and it started (one crank). then we troubleshoot it, everything was good. then we install the solution, it started, but when it was cold, it didn't start. replaced by stock one, it started nice. he troubleshoot it again, and everything was good. he tried it, and it didn't start again. so he said, he will give it to me toplay with it, he just wants to make sure that my car runs good (just installed turbo) with stock coils. so i will have to do my self. he is good, but he suspected that the amplifier went bad. hhaah
i don't know, i will try my self

 

Make sure both grounds are solid. If they are dirty or if the metal contact point on the car was/is dirty.......take the grounds loose, clean the area and make sure they are good and solid.

By the way......................the four wires I got were all of different length like they should have been. I didn't measure them, I just used them as instructed and put the longest where it was supposed to go and so on. It ain't rocket science.

My A/C is magically colder! The reprogramming of the A/C does work. It been hot around here and I find myself using speed 1 instead of 2 much more than I used too. It tends to be to cold on #2. Lol, Thanks.

 

Before someone goes into spasms..... ......I think it was Swoope that pointed it out. I just agreed and didn't remember about that old thread for 04's and 05's. I never really turn mine up to 2 even in the dog days of August. 98 degrees and 99.9% humidity.

Some customers may complain of lack of AC cooling from the vents.
This may be caused by the intake air selector (recirculate / fresh) in the "FRESH" mode.
Cooling the interior of the vehicle may take longerif the air intake selector is in the "FRESH" mode.
Maximum cooling is acheived when the intake air selector mode is in the "RECIRC" position.
The AC amplifier can be programmed to automatically default to "RECIRC" mode when the following conditions are met:
1. Ambient air temperature is 68 deg. F or higher.
2. HVAC control mode is in "FACE" mode.
3. HVAC temperature is in maximum cool setting.
Customers with this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the repair procedure. NOTE: Vehicles produced before 9/11/2003 are not programmable N should have the AC amp replaced per Service Bulletin # 07-002/04
1. Verify concern.
2. Verify ignition switch is in OFF position.
3. Press and hold the front defrost and air intake selector buttons simultaneously.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "ACC" position for 3 seconds. (Continue to hold the buttons down from step #3.)
5. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position for 3 seconds. (Continue to hold the buttons down from step #4.)
6. Successful programming will be confirmed by the rear defrost indicator light flashing 3 times. NOTE: If vehicle's battery dies or cables are removed, the programming will not be retained and must be performed again.

My two cents..............for some reason the A/C seems to work better after doing this.........no matter what mode you are in. I know the above doesn't say that but many have confirmed after being dis-believers(including myself). I think it also helps with the odd often cycling idle issue to some degree. oh......it only supposedly works with 04's and early 05's

Check both your grounds and make sure they are clean and secured. This may very well be your issue!

Ha Ha Ha....I'm always long winded.
Hopefully all others will see this and it will answer all the questions. I think it's funny that "Rocket" was skeptical(rightfully so), chose to forget about it after doing it and about two weeks later he posts up.......hey it works! My A/C is colder!
I will let the masses judge for themselves!

 

Nuttin..............I didn't start it either time. At least we kept it as replies instead of new posts, so it will fade into obscurity.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming!

 

DUDE i tried that ac thingy and IT WORKS!!! it really ddoes!!! 2 years ago i wouldnt have been complaining about lack of ac COLDNESS!!!!!

my ac used to feel like raising the temp **** 2 clicks towards the hot area compared to how it feels now

its nice =]

You'll get it before that. I just think the late comers(even more so than the original guys) got the feeling that these were made in mass qty and sitting on the shelf somewhere before they were introduced. Awful hard to guage the true market before having to dump a bunch of cash to build up stock.
