I got a big ol oil leak, other than that she runs well . Still need to get a proper tune on her.

 

Engine went boom tonight... But at least I pulled hard on a speed 3!

Well considering I just spent most of my money, nothing to spectacular.

Awesome, I think my first issue to address is lowering the boost .

I really dont have much money to play around with, I'd like to get some taller apex seals but not sure how that will factor into the budget (or if its even needed). I'll PM you.

surprised that yomomspimp hasn't popped in to school me on my misunderstanding of boost and Renesis lifespan ...

 

I see 100,000kms+ on 300whp+ modified Renesis engines as being the norm in the future . It sure has been a learning path littered with failure however.

I had worse, my apex seal shattered then came to that side and littered the next apex seal, its like asteroids in there

I rebuilt one for a guy that had the apex seal get between the side plate and the rotor...very exciting

LOL no the oil leak wasn't even an issue, the apex seal went boom. 160k still with no copper showing on the bearings 10-30 ftw.

 

Was it the typical fail point on the apex ? IE the point of the 45deg angle piece ....
