Is the intercooler still going where the OEM windshield washer reservoir is? And if so, will you not then have different RH/LH configurations and parts? How's that part of this project coming along? Hoping you found that elusive simple answer...
Good to hear of your recent advances!

That's why I am saving. The sooner I start the sooner I reach the amount it will be. If it's higher it will just take longer.
Hymee's twin screw is the only reason I still have my 8. If he had said he was scrapping the project I would be in an evo by now especially at the price I was offered one for! It handles as well if not better than the 8 but then also has speed on the straights. Lots of people say fit and finish of the 8 is better but on mine I disagree. Mine rattles worse than any lancer I've driven and that's with having mazda on numerous occasions try to fix it... And this was before tracking it!
As my 8 now is being focused more for track days and weekend fun runs in the mountains/coast than the day to day driver it used to be, the positives (comfort, class, looks etc) it had over cars like evo's/sti's are not as applicable as they once were to me.
With Hymee's help though it'll have the looks, the comfort, the handling and porsche like performance. A moster track car all for a total of less than $70K :D (Aus dollars of course)
I just hope Hymee can keep the price reasonable so as I can do it sooner rather than later!

There are other things too... Like the dipstick, oil filter access etc. A remote mounted oil filter might be in the wind... I guess that has a bit of cool factor

Cheers,
Hymee.

HYMEE, we have a swimming pool full of Rum. Give us some pricing and maybe we can arrange a little swim. If not the Rum gets it!
Patience is a virtue is what they say - he must be doing it right is all I can say. There are lots of kits out now, and more on the horizon. Owning a Renesis now in NA form, and watching the developments of all those dedicated to the need for speed is a blast, and keeps me hooked to this damn keyboard.
I wish I could be tuning my new blower though instead...

My guess is some ppl would buy that remote mounted oil filter as a separate purchase anyway.
