How do I get HP/TQ?
SIZE=3]Is there anyway to get some serious power out of the 8, say 300 WHP or more? Where are the turbos/superchargers for these cars other then the Greddy? Please help I am in the dilemma of the 8 VS the 350z. I like the looks/functionality of the 8 more, but I can't ignore that it is seriously lacking in the straight-line performance.[/SIZE]

The easiest way is to click the tab that says "major horsepower upgrades" and look at the top 10 threads in this section of the forum. I mean I won't even recommend using the search button, just because it is already there. Just put a few minutes of effort into it.

One way to get "serious straight-line power" is invest in American V8 Muscle.
Sure a turbo or SC will increase your power but they aren't without their problems...
...and you can kiss your warranty good-bye with these upgrades.
Good Luck!

If you want straight line power, I guess there's no point in getting the Z, you might as well get an STI or EVO unless you are very particular about RWD. Obviously the 8 would disappoint you in this sense, its basically built for corner chargers.

^^^
Let's be fair, though...head to head in OEM form, the RX-8 will not leave the STI or EVO in the corners. I think the advantage of the 8 is that it is very competent and tossable despite it's relatively soft stock suspension. I think the 8 has a lot of headroom past what the factory gave us.
