Greddy Turbo Manifold Heat Shield Enclosure

Any interest in something like this for the greddy manifold?

These are hand made out of Inconel. They will outlast the life of the car. A recent customer pickup 7rwhp by heat shielding his entire turbo system. Not only will it help produce power, but more critically keep the engine bay temperatures down.

Here are a few examples..

if this is made i would love one! our greddy turbo manifolds are notorious for cracking the cast manifolds, with the heat that will be enclosed to the manifold will that be a concern?

First one sent to us will get an Rx8club member discount; I'm sure its just a matter of time

I would suggest having us coat the inside of the manifold to help with keeping the heat out of the material. When this is done we also coat the outside. This is a much cheaper solution, however it won't work as well at lowering under hood temperatures. Both coating and heat shielding together is the ultimate in heat management. We are currently doing a Supra like this. I will post some pictures down the line of that..

Unfortunately this is expensive. Not only is the material very expensive, its labor intensive. I am looking at doing the first one for $400~ish. Price all said and done will probably be $500~ish...

And for your greddy turbo or MM upgrade

I also mispoke earlier, that 7rwhp gain was just with the below shielding, and it was on an 8.

Imagine doing the manifold also!

Endless possibilities;

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/interest-intake-manifold-thermal-blankets-195052/

We could start selling a heat shield specific kit for the guys running other companies top mount setups...

Doing a wiring harness wrap for 09's car right now...

Our shop car's setup. GTX4294R powered 94' Rx-7..

Also a spy shot of our inconel Rx-8 engine gaskets. They won't blow out under high power. We also sell the same thing for turbo gaskets. I have a customer who has a 666rwhp FC and his standard stamped steel T4 gasket we supplied with his turbo kit blew out after out a few seasons... The problem has now been fixed
