alright so i got a question...im not very turbo savy lol but i found a greddy turbo kit for sale around me for 1000 and here is what it includes...Greddy T3 turbo with front mount intercooler, exhast manifold, turbo back exhaust kit, and Blitz blow off value...this kit was on a civic, i know i'll have to buy parts to make it work with my AT 8 but i was wondering if you guys think its worth it?

Well, I bet the turbo is too small, the manifold is useless, the turbo back exhaust won't fit. So I would say that $1000 for something like this is too much.

Not a single piece of that kit will fit your car.

Try asking if a VTec sticker comes with the deal cause to me that would be a deal breaker.

With a catless exhaust, the air pump hose (or maybe the whole secondary air system?) is not necessary, right? So you install a black-off plate onto the downtube and remove the system.
What do you do when emissions comes around? Would you be able to re-install the cat without the air system and not throw a cel?

The air pipe is just to let the system warm up quickly(increases efficiency), so depending on the quality of the cat it might pass emissions.

hey i have read all 7 pages of this forum and my question is mainly toward MM cause i know he knows his stuff. so my question is that i didnt see fully mentions is about having a test pipe with the turbo kit. i have a B&B test pipe with the B&B cat back exhaust and i want to put th greddy turbo on next in about 2 months give or take, and now from reading all 7 pages of this forum i saw that you and a few others mentioned that there is a possible problem that many seem to come across when you have a test pipe with the kit. now it was a few pages back so i dont remember the exact problem it was but if i have my test pipe on before i turbo my 8 will i still run into the problem? and if so what are the possible ways to fix this/these problems.

ive tryed to word this the best i could, i hope its clear enough for you to answer.

I use a test pipe. There was no problem with the kit (as long as you got the tuning right) and it is even better with the upgrade.

[ im going to have a shop install the turbo for me and tune it, i dont want to **** up and destroy my engine liek someone said they did earlyer in the forum. if i dont know what im doing im not goign to **** around with something like a rotary engine.]

He is saying that rather than asking the same questions over and over again, use that lump between your shoulders and find some of your own information. As far as your gauge questions, here is a link that should explain it all,

Here are videos of the difference in oil flow through a journal bearing turbo with and without an oil restrictor (just in case you were worried about the effect of restricting oil flow:
