actually ive seen alot of turbo kits where keeping cold air or modifying it to work with the turbo kit is very helpful not on a rx-8 but hey ya never know

eh back on topic

maddog, do tell... at least give us a sliver :P
I'd imagine you're working on wider, stickier tires and something with the suspension? Never noticed what you're running atm.

I went to the track last week, my 60ft times are very similar to maddogs and I ran a 14.4. I also have 20" rims on so that didn't help much. If I can connect better I can see running high 13s, and this is only at 5psi of boost. I am planning on turning it up to 6.5, would that be fine without remapping?

I run 11.5lbs of boost with 18" rims, I wonder what my car could pull with good driving and sticky tires.

11.5 #, and you telling me that you run lower that usual pressure?

Got a dyno chart? I'd like to know how much she puts out.

lol i normally run 9.5 but for when i goof off i go to 11.5. I'm going to post the dyno soon, it's like a year old run, i've had scott(mazsport) do more tuning since but the last dyno was just shy of 300 @ 11.5 and 280 @ 9.5
