How much time did we spend on your car? 45 minutes. An hour?
What did we use for a wideband? CANScan?
Did you have ignition control on your E-Manage?
Dyno?
Add to that all of the things we've figured out since March of last year that none of the "pros" did, including PFS.
Furthermore, you were the benefactor of all the same things I had done to my car at that point. I managed not to blow anything up. Not that I won't, but damn.
I'm not about "bashing" PFS. Their real reputation speaks for itself. I'm just pointing out that there are a lot of people that are big parade masters for that place and for no good reason.
How about Eightman1977? His car sat in Ray's garage for 7 months before he even pulled the motor out to start prototyping the turbo system. When he gave up on the project, it was nine months in and all Ray had done was install some body kit stuff and fab a manifold. He was just starting to dick around with making a replacement intake manifold, with no real goal. Now, I'm sure he's busy and all, but if you have a customer giving you a test bed and cash to prototype on a new model, you move over to that and focus - it would be a cash cow in the long run.
I built my entire system from scratch in a few weeks.
I'm not even going to go into all of the MSCW horror stories 'cause I know you don't like those guys.
Certainly you having worked there doesn't make for a very objective point of view, either.

PFS has or had issues. I dont care about that but Ray is a decent guy but I have not had any dealings with him in about a year or so.
C.J's car is a product of too much money and not enough sense if you ask me. I think he needs to look at himself for the outcome of that project. If Ray took sooo long why did he not get on his case??? Not man enough? Scared? I have seen it so many times working for PFS where customers dont have the ***** to say anything and when it is all said and done then they run there mouth.
I appreciate you working on my car!! But you have had one dealing with Ray thru me and I think he treated you very nice.

I have no problem with Ray personally. I have nothing to say about him, really. You are correct - he was very nice to me. But the company takes people's cars and blows them up. Whoever is at fault there I can't say.
Furthermore, it is always going to be hard for PFS to get out of the shadow of Pete, who was absolutely incompetant.
As far as the "*****" issue and the "more money than sense" issue, you are dead right.
Way too many people just throw money at things.
