Question Greddy necessities

Greddy Turbo Kit, Retail about $3500- $4500
Greddy E Manage Ultimate Rx-8 Upgrade Kit, ........... About $685
Greddy E Manage Pressure Sensor, ........... about $100
Greddy E Manage Pressure Sensor Harness, ............ about $30
Greddy E Manage Air/Fuel Harness, ............... about $20
Or skip all the E Manage stuff and go with Interceptor X......... $1500
Greddy Oil Pan, about $285.
Greddy Oil Catch Can 15mm, .about $100
Boost Controller $300-$600.
Upgrade Silicone Couplers and hoses, about $100-$150
Boost Gauge, about $70 - $200
Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge, ............About $250- $400
Gauge Pods About $20- $200
NGK Spark Plugs, 5255 bur9eqp, about $40.
Cat Back exhaust About $600- $1200
Midpipe or high flow cat about $250- $400
And the list can keep on going..........
Install, and dyno tune, about $1000 - $1200

skip the emanage and go straight for Cobb ap by mazdamaniac.

Cheapest starting point is to read everything there is on turbo kits and understand what you are getting yourself into
Making the motor safe ...... hard to know what to advise you here . You are always going to be at a higher risk than N/A . It mostly comes down to tuning .

My plan is when I go turbo is to upgrade my engine seals and rebuilt it.. Cuz I read somewhere rx8s are not made for high miles

nothing wrong with stock internals up to well over 300whp .
Good tuning is way more important

Ya good tunning is best and to start out with low boost. And then work ur self up..

Although the emanage sucks, that upgrade kit is included with all current GReddy kits brand new. But you should get the AP anyways.

And you don't need the GReddy pan.

you probably wont need new plugs running on the stock greddy kit either, unless you really crank up the boost. If your going to just run stock boost or lower than 10psi, put that money twards new coils. I for one wont even install a boost controller untill i get new coils and fuel pump. I dont want to be tempted to turn it up!

I also agree on the AP and READING AROUND THIS FORUM!!!! As for the motor being safe....tuning like BRETTUS said is the most important thing when it comes to "engine health"
