you need to triple check everything you can and get into MM's tuning days. He will tell you if things aren't making sense in your logs.

i'm going to run through the system this weekend just to check everything.

i know this is on the forum, but how do you guys feel about using the NGK-5255 plugs?i'm wanting to switch to a colder plug.

Jeff, i know you had some debates about the plugs. i heard some success stories about using them. but one question i do have, WTF is a shim? lol

a shim is a spacer or washer. the 5255 works for the rx8 leading.

shims required for the trailing if used there, but you should just get OEM trailing plugs because they are already have a heat range of 9 and they are iriduim (lasts longer than the platinum).

I'm just going to say search for them using the terms: spark plug indexing, shims, washers

Because there's no reason to need shims if you go with OEM trailings.
