Since I brew my own wines and beers, that's several gallons to get rid of! I still feel the best way to dispose of alcohol is to have your kidneys filter it before returning it back to the planet.

you know my laptop was in my car when it got stolen... lemme know if your friend wants to get rid of one cheap. all i care about is a working battery because inverters suck!!! that and i don't use it for much besides haltechs and whatnot.
oh yea.. remember that motor that was supposed to go back together in november? that's still sitting in my garage. how fast could you get the parts back to me if i send them to you? unfortunately it's already ported, so we won't have stock readings, but we can see what kind of gains we can get on what i've already done.

Unfortunately I couldn't just receive the parts, flow test them, and send them back tomorrow. I really want some good time with them. I want to make port molds and also remove the sleeves to take measurements for new ones. The hard part is getting them out in a condition that will let me reinstall them. It's not impossible but it isn't easy or quick to do. I really want alot of study time with modeling clay inside the ports to see what does and doesn't work. The real question is how long can you part with them? I'm not trying to keep them permanently. It's not often that I get this chance an I want to be sure I learn all I can while I have them. My preference is to use new, unported housings.

i'm not sure how long i could be without them...i know as soon as i send them, my boss will call me up saying he finally ordered the kit and he'd want me to put it together the next day ain't that the way it goes?? lol
lemme see how money goes and i might be able to buy some of the parts. i'd like stock, my small port, my big port, and whatever you do for comparison. that means we'd need more than one housing and several back and forth trips... like i said, lemme see how money goes. i'm still trying to recover from my car getting jacked...that blow went deep!

Maybe this summer I can get ahold of some of my own housings. I'll have to wait and see how funds go. I am currently working on my exhaust header idea to see if it works or not. The car has been taken apart and reassembled (it's not even my car!) and the proper template for the exhaust flange has been made. I need to get these drawn in CAD and cut out by a machine shop. I'll be able to offer those when the time comes. After studying that horrid exhaust manifold, I am stumped how Racing Beat says there isn't much performance gain from replacing it. I'm not denying their claims in any way. It just seems like there has to be something that can be done to improve it drastically. Maybe not but we'll see.
I also have a muffler design that I want to build and test. It is a neat theory and I haven't seen one like it. I'll build it first and flowtest it. This is where static flowtesting comes in handly. Then we'll try it on a car. This of course adds to the large numbers of exhausts that are already available but mine will be very different. If there aren't any noticable gains, I won't do them. I have been trying to set this all up through Track Time Performance. It's a friend's shop and he is very good. It's hard to get something like this setup and still work my regular job at the same time.
FWIW: I mocked up an intake airbox and did everything the way I thought it made the most sense. When I was done laying it out, it looked strangely like the prototype Racing Beat intake system! I guess I don't need to build those.

It's going to be a while. I'll probably test it on a car here just to see if the simple g-tech can detect it in some form or fashion. I will probably also send it to someone who can dyno test it to see if it works. I want to be sure it is a viable option before anyone uses it. It also will be strictly "off road use only". In order to place one of the collectors where I want it, the cat has to go. No cat. No provision for one. If it works, I'll entertain the option of selling them through Track Time Performance. If not, it doesn't get made. I'm not going to jump on the manufacture and sell a product that doesn't work bandwagon.

I've got datalogged runs of brillo's car. Man those factory maps are way messed up. There's alot I would change. Full timing advance isn't even until 7000 rpm!!! I like mine full by about 4000 or so. It's just been so damn rainy here the past week that I haven't had a chance to play with the Canzoomer.
