Godspeed Gt3076r

Is this a stand alone unit or part of a supercharger. im looking at add more hp to my 8 but i dont have the money for a full supercharger kit everything im seeing is 2-4k im looking for somthing for a few hundred dollars and i came across this? what does this do? and if it is stand alone how much hp does it put out?

By the model number, I'm guessing this is a turbocharger. Not, a supercharger. Second, why don't you contact Godspeed to ask your questions? I haven't heard of any mention of this before. Third, save up for a full kit. It will be less troublesome in the long run.

the red = your biggest problem.
you will not (let me repeat myself) You will NOT find any super charger / turbo charger in that price range. Furthermore, for 'a few hundred dollars' you might be able to get an intake or an exhaust which will only add a few hp. (between 2 and 10)

you want REAL hp upgrades?
better come back with about $5,000.

A good turbo, by itself, is going to be over $1000. Anything cheaper is going to be crap that won't last long.

and jedi is being optomistic :] always have to have enough saved for the proper turbo setup + a rebuild just incase anything happens

Don't let these guys screw with you. The ad says 500HP, just back the screw off a little and settle for 450.

That was mean of me. I was being a smartass.
The guys on this forum are right and they have been there.
The good reliable (?) systems cost around 5-6k and more for those who can't do some of the wrenching themselves. And if you can't then keep your mechanic on speed dial.
There's even one guy who spent upwards of 100k and failed.
Truth is that Mazda has done a good job getting power out of this thing called a rotary. You can get improvments but it costs alot for every little bit. Not like a Mustang or Camero. Follow some of these posts and you'll see how much work these projects are.
You can't just buy parts.

Well, you can just buy a shifter, that'll work.

Don't waste your money on something like that. Because when your engine is toast, you're gonna be paying a few grand for something that you had already to begin with. Just get either a midpipe, greddy catback or RB Intake, and you'll sound like you're going so much faster than you really are.... it also helps if you have your speedometer set to Km.
