I pretty much don't bother boosting my GTX4202R 20b on the street anymore. Spinning tires just isn't fun to me... It's pretty much become a track (circuit) car now where I can put my 335 Hoosier slicks on. And even then, is still spinning tires in in 2nd gear...

Wait, ...you are running a turbo 20B with 600-700 whp as a track car? Build thread? You must have absolutely insane downforce. Are you just doing track days or are you competing with it?

Just do time attacks with it. Its still an evolving project as I just finished this spring but that is part of the fun . I think I still need more tire though lol. It makes 646 rwhp @ 14 PSI (well 13.5 to be exact) according to a Dynapack.

Sorry to derail this thread, but I couldn't post on the RX-7 thread and wanted to make sure I gave a big thumbs up. That is a sweet 20B setup. I'm impressed you are doing TT with mostly factory aero and that much power even with those huge Hoosiers. At 500+ whp my Evo feels like a handful, so I can't imagine another 100+ whp on the track. The only guys I've ever seen running that much power on a TT car are fully built C6Z06s in TT1/TTU.

angeljoelv, presumably your car is more drag/street focused?

Oh, it is indeed a handful... I had to completely re-setup the suspension to make it work. Main problem being the rear wouldn't hook from the power and the front would push like crazy from the weight. Now that its somewhat working, the transmission is popping every other track event...
