FD Motor mounting for swap
Hello peeps,
i was having a conversation with my mechanic, and basically he wanted to drop in a REW in the 8. I advised him of the usual (Price,Custom parts,etc...) he still was intrigued to know.
we have a N/A RE that needs a rebuild, and we have a FD tranny that needs a rebuild as well.
his question was.... how did you set-up your motor mounts, was there any special brackets?, can someone replicate and sell me those brackets.
he doesn't care about wiring or fuel line returns,etc... because, to him it's "Easy" to do. he just wants to know if there is anything i should know about the swap that will complicate things.
the install will be done by me and him, he can also source a REW for cheap and we already have the tranny. so any inputs?
i have read the threads about the REW swap, and 80% of them are from people that had a shop do it; and don't know how it was done.
