You need to hook it up to the exhaust someplace

The biggest issue is protecting the wiring from the heat..so be careful to secure it in as cool a location as possible to keep it from melting. You can run it into the engine compartment...or into the cabin......depends where you put your controller, and if you want to drill a hole or not..

^^ What he said. I have a catless midpipe so I just took the 2nd o2 sensor out and put the wideband in there. Then had the wire follow the same path as the fuel line/brake line, then put it over the tranny and entered the car in the hole i drilled behind the windshield wiper fluid tank. Would never know its there.

What he said. Since you have the AP with the Cat CEL turned off just put the WB02 in the cat pipe and leave the OEM secondary sensor out.

With the OEM sensor out, you can run the car daily like this? With no problems?

yup, that's how I run mine
Disconnected the O2 sensor for the cat and replaced it with my wideband sensor in my catless midpipe

So you just disconnect the O2 Sensor at the connection, leave the connection empty and run the wideband directly to the gauge? or does it plug into stock o2 sensor location?

you can leave the rear o2 sensor disconnected and run an aftermarket wideband o2 sensor in its position. you will however, get a CEL for the rear o2 sensor if you aren't using the AccessPort. nothing wrong just an annoying light.

no, you run the harness for the aftermarket wbo2 to the controller/gauge. the oem harness connector you should cap to protect it..
