He was asking about the MM upgrade, which is a water cooled, ball bearing hybrid Garrett 3071R turbo (custom trim, wheels, etc).

Oh I know he was. I just said For Example. As far as I know, the turbo units in both the Esmeril Kit and MM Upgrade work just fine.

MYSQL, GaMEChld, thanks for the info.

I'll take MYSQL's good advise and do some research, even if it was laced with arrogance, lol.

dont let us scare you off Oldguy--once set up properly and driven properly you can get many thousands of miles out of our engine after FI has been installed.
problem free.
As with ANY aftermarket fi system added to any kind of engine--precautions must be done.
Oh yea --we have been talking about hp to the wheels--not at the crank.
The 8 will never be a true drag car--get on the road course to truely appreciate it.

Huntington does have some nice deserted back roads. Things are a little more out in the open on the south shore.

Don't get me wrong, I'd trade the twisty's for access to a damned highway any day

I hear you. However, I noticed the NYS Troopers have been extra beefy on the SSPW, and NSPW lately. No need to even mention the LIE. I could use a good radar detector.
