E&J does not make seals

Pretty gutted about it all I have to say .

Was able to see how the E&J solid corner seals were going after only about 2000kms . Not good I'm afraid . They were already starting to dig into the exhaust port land and making a wear mark all around the iron.
The apex seal wear doesn't look great either . This engine wasn't going to last very long even if the siamese hadn't fallen to bits.
Suspect the E50 played a hand in both seal issues but I know with the RX8 corner seals and ALS apexs I definitely didn't see wear like this.
my name is Edgar Perez, owner of E&J. i am here to assure every one that we do not make corner seals for the renesis engines. we only make corner seals for the 13b and 20 b 2mm engines. it is a shame that someone would post such thing not know what they have. we stand behind our product and any one can feel free in contacting us and we can assist you with any questions or assistance.
we do feel for the issue in hand and we work hard to make sure our customers dont experience this types of situation.
if you still feel that you were scamed or sold fake E&J renesis corner seals please contact us so we can help you find the person that is using our brand to steal from innocent customers.

He's running the 13b seals because his rotors were cut for the taller 13b apex seal...

While you're here... I contacted you via email about corner seals months ago. You said they would be ready in 15 days give or take 5 days. It's been months... I've emailed with no reply. No biggie...I ordered diff corner seals. Customer Service is meh...
Now I just have to get Rotors Magazine to refund me my money that they said would have been refunded at the beginning of the month. The whole ordeal has been a headache. (that last part was not your fault)

about your corners, sorry about that but we never got paid. i remeber talking with you and when the corners were ready we let matt know. unfortunately he was the person in charge of the payment and ordering. we havent seen any email lately but if i missed one we do appologize. i do feel bad for your inconvenience and i can make that up, shoot me an email and i will do what i cant for you.

about the rx8, is this the first time it ran with the 13b corners?
if so we need to look at the tolerance they gave the rotors. if they gave the apex seal slot too much spring preasure it will wear the apex seals excessively. is it possible for us to see the corners and apex seals.
if i understood the post correctly, he used oem and our seals first and had no issues then he changed and the issue appeared.

also in the post it says that the turbo sucked some thing into the engine, could that been the cause of some of the damages?

thank you

nope those are our seals. i belive that there is another issue for the damages or early wear. if you send us the rotor we can measure the depth and width also most important to make sure the slot is straight.
here at E&J we dont hide from a problem. our goal is to find solutions. the funny part is that every one is ready to post things and dont even know why this happened or even tried to give us a call to inform us on the issue, but yet here i am offering to assist.
we been running our seals for a few years now and have customers around the world with great results. we have had a few customers have with issues but the issues have always been some thing else. we would like to help you find out what cause the problem.
causes.
1. some thing went threw the turbo. that can cause issues
2. wear issues. low oil mix, low fuel mix, incorrect tolerances.
3. mechanical faliures

our email is enjauto@bellsouth.net
feel free.

The proctologist is in. Interesting enough it states "This appliance is not intended for medical use or personal inspection."

Not sure when I'll get around to inserting it, hopefully sometime this weekend after turkey day...

Wow. Curious, since the Siamese port was broken and sucked in are you certain the wear isn't from foreign debris? I just need to scope mine to see what it looks like...

Yea, it's pretty annoying. can't actually hear it in the car over the exhaust and radio. everything has to be pretty quiet.

Yikes... I will try to scope when I get home... Or maybe it's like Schrödinger’s Cat and it's both good and bad until I observe it, in which case I should leave it alone

I'm inclined to think it's the E50 + softer seals combo that caused this . take either one of those two away and I think it would have been ok ..............maybe

This was more difficult than I anticipated lol... But as far as I can see I have a mirror finish. I can clearly see all the LEDs of the camera reflecting on the surfaces. There is one dark streak but I believe that to be oil. The mirror for the camera is poor quality and with it on it was too large diameter to fit in the plug hole, so I had to remove the holder and electrical tape it on. I was holding my breath hoping it wouldn't fall off in there!!!

Pity the pics are so blurry . Good to hear yours is looking ok . My experience is consistent with what some people are experiencing with E85 over in the 7 forum.
