Try making a custom mount where your storage/lighter area above your shifter is.
Actually I got it from Marty, It only cost me $600 shipped to my door in two days. Now to the questions. Where in the @!%@!*@ hell do I get a signal pick up for the Speed signal and RPM Signal. I have been looking and searching for 3 days now and no luck. Can I get a signal at the ECU maybe?

yeah, I had a lot of the same issues. Got the wiring diagram. Some people have done it, but like I said, it is a tough install. Much easier to install on an RX7. Finally, just got something else.

Well I found out the Greddy harness has an RPM converter module on it it’s the one with the # 3 on it. Two yellow wires one black and the brown wire on it. I don’t have diagrams or anything else, everything is in Japanese, and I’m a little rusty in Jap. Some one has to know were to get the signal from com on guys help a brother out.

That would be ideal; I figure that eventually I will run into him. However, I haven’t been able to get much information from any locals, hell I haven’t even been able to find real advice on were to tune my car. And I would have tough that was a pretty easy one. But what are you going to do right? I just cant believe nobody knows the answer to this.

For the rpm wire look at the Greddy harness. The dongle with 2 yellow wires 1 black and 1 brown wire is the rpm extractor. You will need to cut this off from the harness or else order another one. You can get them from Greddy, ebay, or other internet distributors.

Black wire goes to ground. Brown wire will provide your rpm wire. The two yellow wires go to the 2 rpm wires at the ecu harness.

Just match up the ecu pins by looking at the Greddy harness. It'll be the second connector counting from the passenger side, 2nd wire over, again counting from the passenger side, middle row is 1 of the ignition wires, bottom row directly underneath the first wire is the other.

There is no easily accesible speedometer wire on the 6mt rx8. I'm going to try to tap into the abs wheel speed sensors for vehicle speed, but it will likely require some signal conversion.

Yes, that makes sense. I do have the signal converter on my Greddy harness. Should I plug it in before or after the Interceptor?

do you guys include AEM tru-boost? i have it in my car now, it's preety easy to use, and it works, and it's simple, so you don't have to end up with too many gauges.
it works as controller, adn you will see it as boost gauge and vacuum. so i have 3 gauges on my ash tray: tru-boost, AFR, and oil temp. i think you guys should think
about it.......

Yeah, try to adjust that while you drive.
Doesn't act as a boost gauge or a datalogger, either.

Of course, it does make that lovely screech and rubber cloud...
