Not sure of the brand I got it directly through rx8 performance. Quality seems very good, theres plenty of insulation and the outside material has held up to a good beating while installing it.

hi greg, quick question, do you keep the greddy intercooler or you upgrade it? do you mount it flat? if you do, does it really work?

I have larger hks ic with custom end tanks. It lays not completely flat but at a slight angle with a RX8 performance vented under tray.

mmm. that's interesting..a slight angle with a vented under tray? do you create a duct or anything like that? sorry, but i am just trying to figure out my next intercooler set up..i like to find out about a smaller intercooler (30"x7.5x3.75") bar and plate with staggered fins, then mount it 45 degree angle without hitting the radiator or the AC line and no heating issues...but that's just an estimation..i haven't got the intercooler yet..
thank you though

Yeah its a aluminum undertray with the cutout same size as the core, where the gap is between the ic and under tray theres a strip of foam.

I'm interested in picking up Scotts kit, but haven't seen any dyno sheets on it, and he doesn't have any on his website. I would like to see how it stacks up to others in the market. Some solid #'s would be great.

i had one of his first low mount set up when the first time he produced it in his previous stores..i made 335whp between 9-10 PSI..i lost the sheet, it was 2009..lol..
sometimes it's not about chasing the numbers. if u like how it lays out, position of the turbo, quality, and how easy to install it, i think those what matter sometimes.
Depending on what you are looking for..everyone knows that it's hard to reach 400whp on renesis with daily drive.
according to my opinion, i like how his turbo set up lately with V band..love it..i guess depending on what you are looking for..if you wanna high number, there are more than only turbo set up that you need..

overall balance is what I'm looking for, and drivabilty. peak #'s are nice but I'm more concerned with potential and reliability. 400 whp is atractive but not what I'm looking for, but the potential for it
I'am. I would also like to see where and when it makes its power.

Thanks for posting the video Fazda. Just wanted to update, the turbo kit feels great hopefully soon I can work on smoothing out the boost profile with a ebc. In the video was starting in 3rd gear at 2k rpm with no ebc hooked up.

Yeah having a person hold a camera steady at wot is not really going to happen, ill eventually get a camera mount. Yeah boost is not steady being I do not have a ebc hooked up in the video.

this kit looks awesome. Other than the kit what else did you have to do to the engine and what components did you have to buy for the kit to end up completing it so you could run it daily?

Yeah I can imagine how many years it would take to get a turbo kit if people are waiting 6-12+ months a for a washer reservoir.

Mine took about a month. I would have been perfectly fine waiting longer for this kit. The outcome and quality have been worth it
