I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for cash, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you give me those manifolds, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, I will kill you (not srs) and I will take those maifolds.

Piece of steak works every time lol
Thanks mate
I just really admire those manifolds, we should have had an aesthetic metal upper intake manifold from factory!

But in his weather environment and with his driving environment it might not be an issue. When sifu and I go dyno next we will have to log and compare intake temps, he has that UIM.
Also there is no way to tell unless you tap into the air stream in the UIM where it mates to the LIM.
You might be able to compare EGT's but without data from Sifus car with the factory UIM the results wont be accurate.

Probably not, generally when fully heat soaked everything has a surface temp of 200F or so. I think the plastic just cools quicker. I need to borrow your laser thermometer to compare the readings.
That is why I chose to not go with that manifold, heat soak is a bad enough problem as is. But for a show piece it is beautiful. I even looked into composite piping,

As it is winter here with ambient around 18 to 20 deg then my temps are fine. During daily driving temps are around 70 to 80 deg with the engine covers on. However, in summer and at the track the situation changes.
In regards to the upper intake manifold, just like shady, brettus, and shell mentioned the affects of heat soak from the upper intake is so minimal or non affecting to the setup, I'm pretty confident we have other areas much more important to worry about. The replacement of the upper intake manifold was done for one reason. To look good. I think it does a pretty good job with that task haha. I autox the car several times at a local event that is held on a monthly basis and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to regularly attending more Motorsport events and focus on enjoying the car on and off the street.
BTW: forgot to mention the polish finish has a coating of protection and is designed to handle the heat.

Looking good! I'm sure you will be happy with the quality and fitment of the kit. Can't wait to see your setup installed!
