yes several times, I think the problem lies in the fact that the ebc is trying to extend what the Watergate is capable of, if you are just using a springs and the results are 10psi that pressure will just crack the wastegate open enough to release the right amount of gasses to maintain the 10psi as the pressure increases or decreases the wastegate will open more or close more accordingly
but with an ebc and using smaller spring resulting in 5psi with ebc off, the ebc waits for 10psi then sends the signal to the silanoid to open this causes the wastgate to fully open (because it only wants 5psi) then has to close and cycle (solinoid does this), I think there is a limit on how much higher the the ebc can help based on your spring
