the 18g flows only a very small fraction of what the ported Renesis needs. Once I have the $$$, I'm going to put either a gt30 or gt35r on it & retune.

Unhappy

Still have the 18g. Power still drops off after 7k rpms because it can't feed the engine. Still getting a couple #s of boost at 2,000 rpm. Oh, and I still loose traction in 1,2, & 3rd gears when the torque comes on at around 5k rpms.

Still broke.

I still want to put a gt35r on this and see what it can really do, but unless anyone is willing/able to help me do the install and/or source the turbo, it an't gonna happen anytime soon.

Sourcing the turbo is easy.
Getting over your preconceived notions of how big to go is hard.
A GT30 will require a bit of work to fit. A GT35 will require an entirely different manifold/DP.

You do know that a GT35R won't fit where the current T618Z is right ? As MM said it would require some extensive modifications to the manifold. Not simple replacement.

Physically, the GT35 is somewhere between the size of an old T3 and a T04 frame.
It can be made to fit, but it is not a bolt-on.
You will need a special set of motor mounts, a new manifold, a new DP, new inlet and outlet pipes and a lot of BFH work to the floor pan.
FWIW, that is what it took to get a hybrid in there. Probably worth the read to look at my threads on the subject.
