Have you guys heard of the new Jackson Racing Rotex superchargers? Supposed to be some sort of breakthrough...don't know enough about blowers to understand why.

Basically the main advantage is they are compact, and if you go to the rotex website you will see how they are advantageous compared to the traditional centrifugal supercharger type.

The car is/has been at COBB by now hasnt it? not really expecting too much info, just an update if they're working on it and if there have been any issues that are slowing things down at all. Just wondering cause both COBB and this thread have shown no indication about this project recently and it was my understanding that COBB had received the car. Keep up the good work! Hopefully I can buy one of these sometime when they're released.

I don't buy Kool-Aid
Rotex isn't something new, it's not jackson's design, it's rotex (which is a company) HKS uses a Rotex supercharger.

why would you want a centrifugal supercharger anyway? worst aspects of a turbo combined with the worst aspects of a supercharger - nice and small, but thats about it.

I know I've been ignoring you guys for a few months now but I've had to do something real kinky, work. I don't like it either, but the bank does.
We will be at SS and have some good stuff to show off. I'll have to go back and read all the posts to see if there are any questions that need answers.
The shop is almost available to make parts for me next week.
They just had to finish a run of 185 shifters last week and there are a few left to complete.
There will e a new "Competition Shifter" at SS. This is a race only unit and if you compete on the track and have it you're going to slow.
Picture?????///// An axial blown rotary!!! Almost 20 years ago a custom Latham.
The things I've done in my life that I've forgotten about is begining to scare me.
