Axial Flow Supercharger
Has anybody from AxialFlow Engineering talked to Mazda about using this kit for a Mazdaspeed RX-8???
Plus, Mazda should be able to do ECU magic and get an ECU flash that works with a Mazda endorsed FI kit.

I think the reason we don't see a Mazda Speed 8 is NOT the lack of FI options. There are plenty now.
It is more likely two causes, one the driveline would need to be beefed up in order to keep reliability at an acceptable level for a production car.(In addition a redesign of the intake) And two, ensuring emissions still are acceptable.
These take quiet a bit of money. To produce a car whose base cost would probably be in the low 30,000'a (As opposed to the low/mid 20,000's we have now.)
Not to mention the decreased reliability rating and increased costs as people over boost an FI solution released.
I don't expect them to do anything before the next update for the 8.

My desk is hidden in an office that is not photographed.
I have to search for it.
MM, the one good thing about your garage is that you know where everything is.

You know RP, I was thinking the other day about all the talk and people wanting your compressor now. I was attempting to see both sides of it; "give it to us now", and "not until i'm done." I came to one conclusion. Whatever your reasons are, tuning, management, compressor design; none of that even matters, this is YOUR project, and your apsiration. Only you are in the position to make any decisions about this project. And as hard as it is to swallow sometimes, I can respect that as I'm sure the others do. We will be patiently waiting. BTW the new shop looks great!

Well, thankfully, that was the old garage. It did yield a few surprises when I moved out. All kinds of parts. I think there might have been an Ethiopian family in there somewhere, too.
The new garage is a bit more orderly.
I think no-one knows not even RP. We are waiting on COBB, last I heard, for engine management. Once that ships (supposedly later this summer) RP with have to finalize the tune with a COBB unit and then it would be ready to ship... I think.
OT: Hmm, that's odd, MM
I was taking a look at the picture of your garage and I kept wondering to myself. Where does he keep the naked women? I was expecting to see some Halogen Lamps, a Sofa, some cameras, maybe a green screen..
Oh well.
Keep up the good work RP! Can't wait to get screw'd.. oh wait, maybe this is the wrong supercharger thread for that.
Cant' wait to be charged! Yea, that's more like it.
