^ I don't know yet, maybe, maybe not. It was something I definitely wanted to do but this is a bit disturbing. And then the running costs definitely add up.

I'll have to try that. I called ZEX and am waiting a callback from the warranty person.

Nope.. didn't work. It still clicks at 3/4 throttle. I think I'm just going to get the NMU repaired/replaced and just get rid of the system all together.

It hit me I shouldn't be doing this sort of stuff on a daily driver - anything goes wrong and I'm subjected to the tubes of NYC for transportation. I also don't have anywhere to work on it.. except when I'm off of work and on the weekends. Not worth it.

3 1/2 weeks, 2 bottles. The end.

I'm thinking $800 for everything. That will include the ZEX Purge Kit which I did not mention in my first post and I didn't get to install. It all adds up to over $950.. someone can get a deal.. and if you're local you can get a half filled bottle!

Right, I did the complete reset. The oil pressure sweepie thing. Then I hooked up the AP and did a complete ECU reset. Started the car up.. it wanted to really shut off on me.. had to fight with it. Drove it till it was warm and tried the programming again. Still clicks at 3/4.

yeah Al, give another shot, nothing comes easy...you just have to collect all the informations....strat from low, and when it's running goody, then add them up.
sometimes, doing something with patience is worth it. trust me, i have been there.

Did you have the BHR throttle body spacer in when this happened? And I have to ask ,, is the fuel/N2O nozzle pointing the right way.

Did it look like this?

Just looking at all possibilities..

Ya just give it one more shot but make it the 55 shot! I have no problems with my setup. What happened to you was just a learning process. But stick with the hotshots for a little while longer.

Yes, sir. Even though I was told by Charles that isn't the hole he'd have used for the nozzle installation on the spacer.

It's not that I don't want to.. it's the fact that I rather not more unneeded expenses.. I had to dish out nearly $100 for a new intake box and air filter. This is my daily driver and it's need to be as reliable as it has been for much longer. The nitrous is there but I couldn't ever find a real time to use it - spirited passing and driving sure.. but it's not worth it in the end - for me that is.

And remember this has nothing to do with the fact I use 65hp jets.

I'd rather sell the nitrous setup, I had my fun with it, and that money can go towards my tuition now that I need it.

glad you enjoyed it when you did... I know what you mean. I rarely fill it because it can get costly and for me it's somewhat out of the way. Luckily I havent had any problems (knock on wood).

Let me know if you want to sell any of it separate...

Back on, I figured I might as well enjoy it while I get any interest.

Oh the fun!!

I did go back down to the 55hp jets though. Better safe then sorry this time around.

I didn't tell you but I actually FOUND the jet AND the cap for the spacer. The jet was in the crevice by the ABS module, lol.

Thanks though Charles!

Charles.. is there a trick I'm missing with the spacer? I honestly almost didn't install it this second time around because it is such an ordeal to fit the stock airbox back in. I have to wedge 2 ratchet extensions in between and force it to the point that the airbox itself starts to twist. How do you normally get the airbox in and out? Do you push it back and then up? Or do you work from the accordion tube?

I have to really say the BIGGEST downside with a nitrous setup is the need to refill the bottle.

But man to hear the motor scream for mercy when I floor it is something else.

I do plan to ultimately go FI - this is just holding me over.

haha, yeah the flames with the Midpipe are quite large. My girlfriend was following me the other day and i just get a text saying "fire *****" lol. my reply was "yeah, there will be a little one every now and then". Her reply to that was "no, like flames, then fireball, then burn down my car behind you." it was kinda funny. I never knew that they were that intense or noticeable. i guess a cool side effect of a decent product.
