Yeah, I am not doubting that it can be done. I am doubting that it can be done long term with no issues. I've seen people at 12 Psi having issues with longevity 20 Psi would be a nightmare.

And forget about E85, you'd run out of gas before you hit the next station.

The only place I can buy it is next to a racetrack that is about a half a tank of gas away .... LOL

Ah man wouldn't it be great if somebody invented something that would automatically adjust fuel and timing for any mix of e85 and gasoline and you could just run lower boost when you can't find e85?

Or you could just swap in an REW.

Birds of a feather flock together.

You weren't informed when you owned one and are even less informed now that you don't.

Thats crazy, I am holding the title to my RX8 right here. I seriously have no idea how that happened!

Also From what I've been reading you have at one point in time agreed with most of what I've said. Except my statement of the renesis not being able to handle high boost for a long period of time. As usual you state facts and opinions with zero evidence to back them up except saying, "There's other places for information than this forum", which is both accurate and extremely vague.

So for now we agree on:

1. E85 gets horrible gas mileage (you have stated this several times)

2. The REW is a better platform to boost (You also have agreed to this)

We disagree on:

1.The renesis cannot handle high boost over a long period of time. (I can link you to several failed builds supporting this claim.)

I am waiting for your facts and evidence supporting your claim. Until then everything you say is meaningless.

Regarding my being informed, I would say I am very much informed. Given that you support two of my three statements I would say deep down you consider me informed as well.

cheers

Yeap, I took my Audi and moved up to PA. I'll be back in Texas soon to build my engine and take it back up here. I haven't been posting in here because my life has been consumed with the S4. But in a few weeks, that project will be done for now and I can move back to rotary land .

You should have gone with majestic in the first place. We are supposed to learn from 9k's mistakes not repeat them.

Last OP user activity was July 24 last year...... He must be out enjoying his 420whp and too busy to give us the finished results of the build

It must be painful to be sooo wrong soooo always.... Can't say anyone here was expecting different of this thread from the start though lol

Yeah, I figured if it was the same builder he should at least be able to pull that off with the 5558 on a MT then too
