Hey guys, I have had an xcarlink module installed in my 8 for the last couple of years. All of a sudden the cd player and the xcarlink stopped working. The radio was still fine during all this. So i disconnected the xcarlink from the 12 pin adapter in the back of the stereo and cd and radio both work fine. My question is if I should just buy another xcarlink module or could the 12 pin adapter be damaged? Thanks for all the help!

 

Have you tried plugging the XCarlink back in to see if everything works normally now? They've been known to have some small interface hiccups every once in awhile. Sometimes unplugging and replugging them is all that's needed.

 

I did try this after about a week of having it unplugged and still no luck
