Will Phone wire work for audio?
Question: Can use a 1 foot lenght of phone wire (4 conductor) for +, Ground, audio Left + and Right+ to connect the receiver to the wiring leading to the HU? I just installed Sirius with the Sat reciever above the dash and the plugs/wires are bulky and unsightly ! Help appreciated guys

If you have the homelink rearview mirror, look at how mazda did the wire hide. A hollow piece of plastic. now go to the hardware store, wal-mart, wherever and look for something similar. A black round hollow piece of plastic just a tad large than a straw. use that to hide the wires. Won't look as good as no wires, but pretty close.

This kind of feed doesn't require thick cable, but it's not the best idea to use phone cable.
I would suggest finding some black rca pre-amp cables that aren't too bulky for you, and cut the plugs off of the ends.

Go down.....
Why not go straight down thru the 'top-dash-piece'?
I asssume you mounted (screwed) the Sat down into the curved plastic top?
Pull everything out a bit, and lift that top piece, then go right down thru it....
