Moved to Interior, Audio, and Electronics. DIY is for when you have a set of instructions to post.
The factory nav is rather terrible. I use a tablet with a floor mounted stand and an AUX in adapter. Many other options are out there, but a tablet mounted in the car somehow is the most common. There are a few builds of mounting a small tablet into the stock nav hood. 3rd party nav is generally better than anything else you can get, and going through a tablet allows all sorts of other apps.

It's in the FAQ. But it's a completely worthless waste of time. The amount of money and time you'd have invested FAR FAR exceeds the cost of an outboard Garmin, cell phone, or tablet. ON TOP OF THAT, the actual navigation software is terrible. So you're paying far more money and spending far more labor, to get a far inferior system. Your call.

Navigation update?
Bumping an old thread as I can't find a more recent one about this.
Does anyone know what is the most recent update available for the OEM navigation system?
Yes, I know the Garmins, etc. work better, I just want to get the most recent updated DVD for mine.
Thanks!
