What you do with the flat tire kit ?

I guess that this is a question for the people that have a system (sub) in the trunk that takes the space of where the flat tire kit goes .... what do you do with it .... or where do you put it now since there is no space for it now ..... i am just asking for ideas

When I used that oh-so-popular eBay box, I just left it in the garage. I don't drive the 8 on long trips. Been without a spare/kit in every car I've owned and it only bit me one, very small, time with my firebird. (Called a friend and was driving again in about an hour) Spare tires/jack take up too much room and weigh a ton. Screw em.

I now have the 4080 boxes. So the kit could go back in it's original factory location. But it's still sitting in the garage. Now that you mention it, I'll probably move it back in. It weighs 5 lbs and doesn't take up much room at all.

I need to find the brackets that hold up the spare tire.

If you take everything out of the plastic box it will all fit in the pocket of the trunk passthrough door. You should pad it with foam though to keep stuff from rattling.
