Hi. I am picking up my new RX-8 tomorrow. I found it was made in mid January 04. I made sure all applicable recalls were done, and they are doing the M-Flash today, but how do I know if I have the new NAV software or old software, as I can find any bulletins as to what vin's or production dates have the old software. Can anyone help? Also, can the stock system play DVD movies? And where does the Nav dvd eject at? Thank you!

 

the nav dvd drive is in the center console in the rear between the back seats.

Gotcha. So there's no actual date that Mazda started using the new software? The reason I ask is that I dont take delivery until tomorrow and want to get them to do everything I want before I do. Dealerships are much more likely to perform the little stuff, like updates if its just before you sign the papers So I am unable to start the car to see the startup screen.
