What amp do I need for 2 JL W0's?

I have 3 10" JL W0's that are 12 OHM that have been sitting in my garage for awhile, I'm trying to figure out what amp I need and how I need to wire these for only two subs, I only want to use two so they will fit in the zenclosures box I just ordered from ebay.

Am I correct that two 12 ohm SVC subs would create 6 ohm? I think these are 125 Watt RMS. Whats that translate into at 6 ohm?

Can anyone recommend an amp?

Actually that sub has 2 seperate 4 ohm voice coils.

They can be wired together to be 2 ohm or 8 ohm or left 4 ohms if they are each on their own channel.

I think any small amp will be more than enough for these subs... I would look for an amp that can handle about 300 watts RMS mono @ 2 ohms and wire the speakers in parrallel

Are you sure they are duel voice coil? I only see one coil on the specs sheet, but maybe I am reading it wrong.

hhmm i hadn't seen that sheet.. i just did a quick google search and the sites i looked at said it had 2 4 ohm coils... you should look at the speakers themselves - count how many sets of inputs there are... and you can also hook a voltmeter to the inputs on the OHM setting to find out exatly how many ohms the coil(s) is(are)..

yeah, if you wire them in parallel you should get a 6 OHM reading. as far as what amplifier to get, just one that is capable of putting out around 250-300 Watts RMS at 8 OHMs, since it would be difficult to find an amp that actually shows an RMS rating for 6 OHMs. but that is just a suggestion.
