Voodoo Shift ****

Just installed a nice stainless Voodoo shift ****. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, to be sure, but I kinda like the way it looks. More importantly though, the "feel" of the shifter is much, much better. The stock shift **** is extremely heavy, and with its leather wrap around it and the nylon insert that contains the threads, it is effectively dead from a "feel" standpoint. With the Voodoo, it's metal on metal, and you can feel everything, which makes for a more positive shifting experience. I think I'll keep it.

They are nice shift *****. Voodoo has been making them for a few years. They fit Miatas and 89+ Rx7s too. All have the same thread as far as I know. Im with Rotary Rasp though. I like the stock shift **** the best. It just fits in nicley with the rest of the interior.

Hiya 'Rasp,

I like the looks of the stock shift **** myself. I'm loving the better feel of the Voodoo **** though -- it communicates what the tranny is doing a whole lot better than the stock ****.

Best,
Bill

If you haven't already, unscrew the stock shift **** and feel the weight of that sucker... If someone ever rear-ends you just get out and chuck it at their head, I know I'd feel a little better. (a little)
