Video Line-in;I choose

I understand that I cannot use difficult solution to add a line in to my Rx-8.
I don't spach English very well and also Electronics is difficult for me.
So I decided to use Nycron solution. You can find an html page with his installation. (http://www.thommino.com/Installazione_Mazda.htm)
In this way shall I buy nav-vision unit. Somebody can buy it for me less than 350$+S.S.?

What about this new product http://www.converters.tv/news/15.html If I made a manual or automatic selector (In:2 rgb;Out:Rgb) could work like Nav-Vision. Is it right? How can I bult a selector?
Thanks

I just bought one of these. It's only $90, and it appears to be identical to the board that nav-vision uses. It'll take more work on my part, but I think it'll be a fun project.

calm down people you sound as if you don't get the video working now the apocolypse will begin...

you can definitely use a KVM switch but it will be a crude setup,,,you may want to wait for another month as a wiring harness might be out and cheaper switchers will be out

I know I was kidding...hey it is great you get to take your 8 to a show...your just going to have to drop $500 on the avelectronic unit if you want it on time...all the other solutions require lots of work...now Thew is working on something that is coming along soon so you should wait for him if you can

you can always sell the unit to one of us :D
